What to expect from a site survey
Have you got a specific or difficult space you want to fit a shed into? We offer site surveys for a fee of £78.00, but there are a few things you may want to consider.
Before you book a site survey, we’d like to make clear in advance that the team’s only purpose when doing a site survey is to get good measurements of your space.
For most jobs, a site survey is not needed, and we’re happy to work on the basis of measurements supplied by the customer.
If you are not confident taking the measurements yourself, we would of course be happy to come and do that for you.
Please read the following before booking a site survey!
- Please make sure that we have good information ahead of time so that we know where you are thinking of putting the shed or sheds. That means we can measure the right space correctly.
- Please make sure they have access on the day and that the site is clear so they can measure the space. We don’t ask our team to move rubble or rubbish.
- Please don’t think of it as a design consultation. Once we have site measurements, we’d be delighted to arrange a video consultation where we can share design ideas and work through the options.
- Please, if at all possible, don’t take time off to greet and talk to our guys. We can’t be certain of our arrival time. We’ll be driving from Bristol and doing various other jobs on the same day, so planned arrival times can change considerably.
